Sony Xperia 1 VIII May Get Redesigned Rear Camera Module, Xiaomi, VIvo, OnePlus

A new smartphone from Japanese consumer electronics maker Sony can be launched soon. A major change can be made in the rear camera module of Sony Xperia 1 VIII as compared to the previous version of this smartphone. The front of the upcoming smartphone may have a hole-punch design for the camera.

The upcoming smartphone has a square shaped rear camera module. It has three cameras along with an LED flash. Generally, Sony smartphones come with a vertically arranged rear camera system. A hole-punch cutout is visible on the front of the upcoming smartphone. Earlier, the company’s Xperia smartphones had a front camera inside the top bezel.

Some small cutouts have been given around the rear camera module of this smartphone. These can be used for microphones or autofocus sensors. A telephoto camera can be given in Sony Xperia 1 VIII. However, the company has not given any information about this smartphone. Recently in a media report it was said that Sony Xperia 1 VIII and Xperia 10 VIII have been listed on a certification platform. It can replace the Sony Xperia 1 VII and Xperia 10 VII introduced last year. These smartphones have been listed on the IMEI database. The model number of Sony Xperia 1 VIII is – XQ-GE44 and that of Sony Xperia 10 VIII is XQ-GH44. The different PM codes of these smartphones indicate their launch in Japan as well as European and Asian markets. However, information about the specifications of these smartphones was not available from this listing.
