Ever since the theme for the Met Gala 2026 was announced, fans have been eagerly waiting to see how their favourite stars have interpreted it. For the unversed, the theme for the night was Costume Art, with the dress code ‘Fashion is Art’. And now we finally know who is wearing what, and the ladies have left us impressed. Let’s take a look at what the men are wearing to the biggest night in fashion.
Met Gala 2026 brings A-game in men’s fashion
It is often seen that men are left with the same simple and boring options when it comes to fashion. From the Oscars, the Emmys, or the Golden Globes, most famous men choose to wear a black suit or standard tux. However, the Met Gala often gives them a chance to think outside the box and bring their most creative fashion desires to life. From Billy Porter wearing gold wings and a headpiece to Jared Leto carrying around a prosthetic replica of his own head or Marc Jacobs sporting a see-through lace dress, there have been some male celebs willing to take a fashion risk in the past. So, let’s take a look at what this year’s Met Gala has brought to the red carpet.

Heated Rivalry stars, Connor Storrie and Hudson William, turn on the heat with their Met Gala looks
Connor Storrie appeared at the Met Gala 2026 in an all-black ensemble and blew our minds as soon as he took off his jacket. The actor showed off his muscular biceps in a halter-neck polka-dotted shirt. He showed how a simple look with the right accessories and a little pattern can make all the difference. Meanwhile, Hudson William channelled his inner soft bles in an open-jacket look with black patchwork. He made every head turn with his rock-hard abs and choker-style necklace.

Fashion is Art got a daring with Troye Sivan and Colman Domingo
Troye Sivan brought a blend of fabrics and textures to his look with worn-off denim, a white shirt, and a black fur-collared coat. The singer proved that fashion doesn’t always have to be uncomfortable; sometimes it can thrive in a pair of jeans with chains. However, was it the right choice for the Met? Well, that’s an argument for the fashion critics. Meanwhile, Colam Domingo appeared on the red carpet in attire best described as daring. The star, who is no stranger to fashion, arrived in a long checkered sweater, paired with black pants featuring red stripes on either side.

Met Gala 2026 goes leather-core
On the other hand, Luke Evans went completely 180 degrees from Troye and Colman and opted for a full leather look, paying tribute to Tom of Finland. The brown leather fitted the actor to perfection, though how he walked in it is a mystery only he can disclose. However, Patrick Schwarzenegger followed close behind. The star opted for an all-black look, with a hint of white peeking out from his shirt. He also decided to play with textures and elements, adding a corset to his look and then further completing it with a leather jacket and gloves. And honestly? He was definitely a detective from the early 1900s.

The white angels, Jon Batiste and Law Roach, take over the Met Gala
Taking a turn from black and sporing, Jon Batiste had jaws drop with his all-white look, which challenged every black suit on the carpet. Not only that, but instead of opting for a tux, he went with a massive puffer jacket, adding a unique touch to his version of modern-day formals. Law Roach, on the other hand, looked magnificent in a white suit with splashes of colour, forming a beautiful painting by Bouenguidi; the extra-long sleeves added character to his look, while his face card served us with “king” energy.
