She is a New York Times bestselling author and has been seen on another hit reality show, ABC’s Dancing with the Stars Season 32, where she finished in third place.
At present, Ariana is hogging the spotlight for hosting Love Island USA Season 8, which premiered on June 2, 2026. For those unaware, she became the permanent host of the show two years ago, in 2024. It was in the summer of 2013 that Ariana Madix first joined the cast of the reality TV series, Vanderpump Rules. For those unaware, Tom Sandoval was an original cast member on the show, while Ariana had joined during season 2. It is not known when the former couple crossed paths for the first time, but during the first episode of the show, Tom had referred to Ariana as his friend whom he had previously worked with. However, contrary to what he said, Tom’s then-girlfriend, Kristen Doute, actually accused him of cheating on her with Ariana Madix, which the duo have since denied.

After breaking up with his on-and-off girlfriend, Kristen Doute, Tom Sandoval finally confirmed that he and Ariana Madix were dating during the Vanderpump Rules Season 2 reunion, which aired on February 10, 2014. And the same night that the episode aired, the duo decided to go Instagram official. While Tom posted a snap taken during a trip in San Francisco, Ariana shared a black-and-white picture of them together. Referring to the fact that they were making funny faces in the photo, Ariana wrote in the caption:
“Leave it to me to post this one.”

Ariana Madix and Tom Sandoval went all out during Halloween 2016. For the occasion, Tom dressed up as a vampire while the Love Island USA host sported an ice princess look. Together, the duo attended SUR’s “Black Magic” Halloween party. Later, Ariana posted a picture of her and her then-boyfriend, who had his fake fangs out. She captioned the snap, “Tryana draw blood from my ice cold veins.”

In May 2017, Ariana Madix and Tom Sandoval attended the annual horse race in Louisville, Kentucky, alongside their Vanderpump co-stars, Jax Taylor and Britanny Cartwright. Tom shared a picture of the full group posing in front of the race track, in addition to a picture with him and his girlfriend in formal wear for the Barnstable Brown Gala. Meanwhile, Ariana chose to post an adorable picture of the two with the caption, “I took my hat off.”

According to a report by People, Ariana and Tom decided to buy their first house together in February 2019. The house in question was located in Valley Village, California, where their co-stars, Taylor and Cartwright, also own a home. The group jokingly called their move to the San Francisco Valley area the “Great Valley Migration.”
Ariana Madix and Tom Sandoval published a mixology book
Together, Ariana and Tom released their first book, Fancy AF Cocktails: Drink Recipes From a Couple of Professional Drinkers, on December 3, 2019. As the name suggests, it is a mixology book that the couple cowrote. The book reportedly features four types of cocktail recipes: Classy, Trashy, Shots and Recovery. Some days after the book’s official release, Ariana posted a sweet picture of her and Tom with the caption:
“This week never stops being amazing! I’m so lucky.”
Ariana Madix and Tom Sandoval split up after 9 years together
In March 2023, it was revealed that Ariana Madix and Tom Sandoval had broken up after 9 years together. Reportedly, Ariana found out that Tom was allegedly cheating on her with their co-star, Raquel Leviss, which is what caused their split. According to reports, while supporting her boyfriend at the Tom Sandoval & the Most Extras show in Los Angeles, Ariana ended up discovering inappropriate text messages between Tom and Raquel. A source at the time told People:
“This has been going on for upwards of 6 months – all the while, Tom was sleeping next to Ariana in bed. She was completely blindsided by this; devastated doesn’t even scratch the surface of how she feels.”
