Microsoft started the bug finding program in 2012 itself. Now it has been extended to Windows 10 also. According to a post on the company’s website late on Wednesday night, a reward will be offered for reporting any critical bug, advancement of code execution, privileges or design flaws that jeopardize customer privacy and security.
the company has said while announcing“If a researcher reports a bug that is already known to Microsoft, a maximum of 10 percent of the maximum amount will be awarded to the first person to report the bug.”
Other technology companies such as Google, Facebook and Apple offer similar rewards to those who find bugs and defects in their software.
