Apple CEO Tim Cook had hinted at opening additional stores in India during the December quarter results announcement. Cook had said that the company has made a revenue record in the December quarter. Apple’s revenue in India has grown in double-digits. The company’s sales in India have increased rapidly in the last year. The company has shipped approximately 1.4 crore units of iPhone in the country. With this, Apple’s market share has increased to nine percent. In the previous year it was about seven percent. Company’s second in Mumbai Store Will be in Borivali. Apple opened its first store in Jio World Drive Mall in Bandra Kurla Complex, Mumbai. Apart from this, the company has stores in Saket, Delhi and Bangalore and Pune. Recently, it was told in a media report that the company plans to open a store in Hyderabad also.
