The power couple, Alex and Leila Hormozi, are over the moon as they are expecting their first baby. Yes, you read it right. The Acquisition.com founders are all set to embrace parenthood after 9 years of marital bliss. For the unversed, the couple got married in 2017. Known for their business and self-improvement brand, Alex and Leila have built a large following by sharing both personal and professional insights. Now the parents-to-be sat for a candid conversation to share their excitement for their first baby.

A while back, parents-to-be Alex and Leila Hormozi exclusively shared the good news and photos from their maternity shoot with People. They are on cloud nine as they are set to welcome their first baby together. The couple explained that they are ready for the “highs and lows” that will come with his new journey. Sharing their excitement, the power couple said to People:
“Life has been a series of interconnected wild rides for us. From the highest highs to the lowest lows. Welcoming this baby into the world will bring its share of both, and we’re here for all of it.”
In the first snap, Alex and Leila were seen holding a white onesie and a black cap that bore the name of their brand, Acquisition.com. The couple was sitting together on a beige couch, wearing casual clothing and looking the happiest about the news. In the second snap, Alex was seen caressing Leila’s baby bump while she laughed like a kid. The mom-to-be kept the onesie and the black cap on her lap. The soon-to-be parents told People that they are overwhelmed with happiness. They said:
“We’re filled to the brim. We have no room left for any feeling besides unending and perpetual gratitude.”
Inside Alex and Leila Hormozi’s love story
Before meeting Alex, Leila Hormozi was seeing other guys. She met the man of her dreams, Alex, on a dating app, Bumble. Their first phone call, a pre-date, was set on their shared life and business goals. They first met at Froyo Yoghurt for a date. However, it was not all things romantic. But as they discovered mutual interests, their conversation spanned four and a half hours. During a conversation, Leila shared how she felt after meeting Alex. She said, “I just wanted to keep talking to him. I just finally felt like I found somebody who sees reality the same way as me.”
After a few meetings, Alex asked Leila to work with him. Leila took the risk as she believed in their shared interests. In the beginning, life was quite difficult for them. The couple stayed in cheap motels, struggled financially and worked tooth and nail to set up a business. Leila, during the same conversation, shared that the first two years of their relationship were not at all romantic. The couple founded Gym Launch, a project rooted in the desire to empower gym owners. Leila said:
“It was learning how to use stress to our advantage to become better versions of ourselves. I will not compromise, nor will Alex, who I am and who he is.”
The company made USD 27 million in two years. However, Alex’s business partner stole a significant amount of money from him and left him at square one. He was heartbroken, but it was Leila who became his pillar of strength. Together, they expanded into more companies and eventually built Acquisition.com. Leila and Alex founded Acquisition.com in 2021.
