Matthew later sent a voicemail to Sarah, who recalled in a conversation with the New York Times that the actor gave her a “charming” message on her machine. The duo then collaborated on a Broadway show, How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, in 1996. Sarah described Matthew as the funniest person she had ever met and continued:
