iQOO has launched a new edition of its flagship smartphone iQOO 15 in India. The company has named it Apex variant, which looks different from other variants in terms of design. iQOO 15 was launched in November last year and now this new variant seems to be trying to bring the phone back into the limelight. This model claims to stand out from other flagship phones especially due to its unique design.
The iQOO 15 Apex variant was first introduced in China at the time of its launch and now it has been made available in India as well. The design of this variant is said to be inspired by the cloud pattern, in which the color of the phone appears to change when viewed from different angles. This design makes it different from the Legend (white) and Alpha (black) variants.
Talking about the price, the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage model of iQOO 15 Apex variant comes for Rs 72,999. Whereas the price of 16GB RAM and 512GB storage variant has been kept at Rs 79,999. The prices are the same as the other color variants, that is, no changes have been made here.
Talking about pre-booking offers, the company is giving a flat discount of Rs 6,000 on select bank cards, after which the effective price of the base variant becomes Rs 66,999. Apart from this, pre-booking users will also be given free iQOO TWS earbuds worth Rs 1,899.
This new Apex variant is currently available for pre-booking and its sale will start on April 6 at 12 noon. Customers will be able to buy it from iQOO’s official website, Amazon, Vivo exclusive stores, Reliance Digital and other retail outlets.
The iQOO 15 features a 6.85-inch Samsung M14 8T LTPO AMOLED display with 2K resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, and 6000 nits local peak brightness. It has a 7000mAh battery which supports 100W wired and 40W wireless charging. The company promises 5 Android upgrades and up to 7 years of security updates. The rear of the phone has a 50-megapixel primary camera with OIS support, 50-megapixel telephoto periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom, 3.7x lossless zoom and 10x zoom, and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera.
At the same time, a 32-megapixel front camera is available for selfie and video calling. The iQOO 15 comes with an IP68 + IP69 rated build, which ensures protection against dust and water. The thickness of this phone is 8.17 mm and weight is up to 220 grams.
