Jake Hall’s tragic death at the young age of 35 has left his fans in shock. Incidentally, it has become the last interview of the former The Only Way Is Essex star. Jake Hall revealed ‘the only thing’ that kept him alive
In his final interview, Jake Hall opened up about the emotional struggles he faced after losing his fashion brand, Prévu. He explained that the brand, which closed in 2023, held a special place in his heart. The 35-year-old explained that he began the business from scratch in his bedroom. In turn, each fashion piece represented hard work. Eventually, losing the business pushed him into one of the darkest phases of his life. In his words:
“I was at a very low point. I’d lost something that I’d loved and grown from my bedroom. I went through a lot of turmoil. If I’m honest, River is the reason I’m here today. She’s amazing, and we’ve got an incredible relationship. She’s very creative, always dancing, and loves clothes.”
However, Jake revealed that his daughter, River, was the primary reason he kept going during the difficult phase. He explained that his eight-year-old daughter, River, gave him a reason to keep going after he lost everything. As a father, the reality star admitted that the majority of what he built was meant to secure her future. Hence, losing Prévu felt like losing a dream he had for her. Still, his little one’s creativity and energy kept him focused. In fact, it helped him climb out of that dark phase.
Apart from his business struggles, Jake also discussed his initial rise to fame and personal insecurities. He explained that after becoming famous on The Only Way Is Essex in 2015, he found it difficult to manage the attention at a young age. At the same time, the reality star opened up about his experience of growing up with dyslexia. The condition made him struggle in school and hampered his confidence. Later in 2025, Jake started a new label, “By Jake Hall”. In fact, it caught the attention of high-profile names such as David Beckham and Erling Haaland, testifying to his comeback. Sharing about his success, Jake said:
“The last few months have been pretty amazing. It’s been a rollercoaster of emotions, and rebuilding a business is never easy. I’m in a really good place at the moment and excited about the future. I can feel the energy and the spark, and I just want to keep that momentum going. The comeback is on. I know I can do it.”

Jake Hall not only struggled in his professional life but also in his personal life. He was once in a successful relationship with Missé Beqiri. The couple even got engaged and welcomed a daughter together. But, soon they decided to go their separate ways in 2021. Some news reports suggested that a family tragedy and increasing problems between the duo led to their breakup. Missé later addressed their relationship as “toxic”.
On the other hand, Jake faced legal trouble and a restraining order after a domestic dispute in 2018. Before Missé, Jake was in a long-term on-and-off relationship with his fellow TOWIE star, Chloe Lewis. But the relationship finally ended in 2016 after Jake admitted in public that he was unfaithful to her.
What caused Jake Hall’s death?
Jake Hall’s death is now under police investigation in Spain. According to the Spanish Civil Guard, officers found him with fatal head injuries at a rented villa in Majorca. The incident took place in the early hours of May 6, 2026. Police told local media that Jack was reportedly partying with his friends before his death.
They are speculating that he might have smashed his head into a glass door during a chaotic late-night incident. The neighbors admitted hearing loud noises. Meanwhile, the cops have questioned four men and two men who were also staying at the villa. But no arrests have been made in the case so far.
