Joni fired Jonathan from Daystar for a ‘smear campaign’ and for manipulating his way into leadership. Following this, several accusations against her were made, including an abuse allegation from her daughter-in-law, Suzy. Well, Joni denied all the allegations from her son and daughter-in-law. Speaking on her show, Joni Table Talk, Joni spoke about the pain of a mom when one of her children chooses to go on a different path than family values. To mention, Suzy, after the news of Joni’s passing, shared an emotional note, which could be read as:

Reportedly, she also developed back pain, which ended up making her condition even worse. In her last social media post, Joni Lamb spoke about her faith in God amid her ongoing health battle.
