In a video that has now surfaced from the 2026 Met Gala, the couple appear clearly unhappy behind the scenes. The now-viral video shows ASAP chatting with two other women at the event while Rihanna was being interviewed by a reporter just a few steps away from him. What caught everyone’s attention was the one moment when Rihanna turned towards ASAP, but instead of a smile, her expression turned glum while she kept answering questions from the journalist.
Following this, when ASAP walked over to greet the reporter and engage with the singer, Rihanna became standoffish. As soon as the clip of this interaction went viral on social media, many fans began reacting to it. One user wrote, “Her face when he came closer,” followed by crying emojis. Another user wrote, “Leaving your lady standing while you giggle with other women is extremely disrespectful.”

Previously, the duo were filmed by a photographer having an emotional discussion in their Sprinter bus after the Met Gala. Fans were quick to notice that at times, the pair even looked annoyed. However, the source told the outlet that Rihanna and ASAP had been going nonstop for nearly 16 hours and by the time that they were caught on camera while leaving the event at the end of the night, they were completely drained. The source said, “It was a long day, and they were running on empty.”
It is worth noting that later, ASAP was seen looking pretty glum during a late-night outing in New York City. The same publication reported that the rapper was seen hopping into a car on Tuesday night, May 5, 2026. He was seen in his usual stylish fit while rocking a pair of dark shades.
