Xiaomi 17T Pro to Feature MediaTek Dimensity 9500 Chipset, Vivo, Poco, OnePlus

The new smartphone series of Chinese devices maker Xiaomi will be launched in select international markets this week. This series will include Xiaomi 17T and Xiaomi 17T Pro. Xiaomi 17T will be launched in India next month. The company has given information about some specifications of Xiaomi 17T Pro of this series including the battery.

One on social media platform Post Xiaomi has said that Xiaomi 17T Pro will have octacore MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset. This smartphone will have a 7,000 mAh silicon carbon battery. The company claims that it smart fone Will be able to record video for 9.5 hours on a single charge. Information about pricing, camera and other details of Xiaomi 17T Pro is not available.

This smartphone will be launched along with Xiaomi 17T on May 28 in select international markets. These smartphones will have a Leica-tuned triple rear camera unit. Xiaomi 17 will be launched in India on June 4. This smartphone can have 4nm octacore MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Ultra chipset. Xiaomi 17T may have a 50-megapixel Light Fusion 800 primary camera and a 50-megapixel telephoto camera. A 32-megapixel camera can be provided in its front for selfies and video calls. The price of Xiaomi 17T in the country can be between Rs 69,000 to Rs 72,000.

Recently, Xiaomi had claimed that its sales in India’s mid-premium smartphone segment have increased by about 212 percent between February and April. The company has described the segment between Rs 35,000 to Rs 50,000 as mid-premium. Xiaomi had said that its strategy of shifting from volume to value has paid off. Last year, Xiaomi had decided to give priority to value rather than launching a large number of smartphones in the market. According to data from market research firm Counterpoint, the company has achieved double-digit growth in the Rs 10,000 to Rs 20,000 segment of smartphones in the first quarter of this year. Xiaomi ranked fourth in India’s smartphone market with 7.9 percent share.
