Xiaomi has launched its new flagship smartphone Xiaomi 17 in India. This phone has been introduced with the company’s Xiaomi 17 Ultra. The new device has a 6.3-inch CrystalRes OLED display, which supports 120Hz adaptive refresh rate. Apart from this, features like Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, Leica tuned triple camera setup and large battery have been provided in the phone. The company has also included AI based HyperAI features in it. This smartphone comes with Xiaomi HyperOS 3 based on Android 16.
Talking about the price, the price of 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant of Xiaomi 17 has been kept at Rs 89,999. Whereas the price of 12GB + 512GB variant is Rs 99,999. This phone will be available in Black, Blue and Green color options. Its sale from 13th March Xiaomi India website, Amazon And will start at select retail stores.
Xiaomi 17 It has Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC, which is a chipset built on 3nm process. Adreno GPU and Qualcomm AI Engine have been added to it. For good gaming performance, Xiaomi has included 3D IceLoop cooling system in the phone and also the phone comes with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage type. The phone comes with IP68 rating, which is claimed to provide protection from dust and water.
Xiaomi 17 has a 6,330mAh battery, which supports 100W wired HyperCharge and 50W wireless charging. It has a 6.3-inch CrystalRes OLED panel, whose resolution is 2,656 × 1,220 pixels. The panel supports 120Hz adaptive refresh rate and up to 3,500 nits peak brightness. Along with this, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, 12 bit color depth support is also included. Xiaomi says that the screen of Xiaomi 17 has received TÜV Rheinland low blue light and flicker free certification.
Talking about the camera, Xiaomi 17 has been given a Leica tuned triple rear camera setup. It has a 50MP primary camera, which has 1/1.31 inch Light Fusion 950 sensor and OIS support. Apart from this, 50MP telephoto camera comes with 60mm focal length and OIS. The third camera is a 50MP ultra-wide sensor, which supports 102 degree field of view. For selfie and video calling, it has a 50MP autofocus front camera.
Connectivity features include Wi Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, NFC, and USB Type C port. Along with this, the phone has a setup of stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support, Hi Res audio certification and four microphones. For security, it has support for ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor and AI based face unlock.
