England’s Danni Wyatt-Hodge scored a remarkable century against Sri Lanka in the opening fixture of the Women’s T20 World Cup at Edgbaston in Birmingham on Friday.
The 35-year-old became the second English player after Heather Knight and the seventh player overall to score a T20 World Cup ton.
This is her fourth T20 hundred having struck a 57-ball 100 against Australia in 2017, a 64-ball 124 against India in 2019 and a 60-ball 110 for the Southern Vipers against the Surrey Stars in the now defunct Kia Super League in 2019.
