He is best known for his work in independent movies, notably as a frequent collaborator of the Safdie brothers. Producer, Sebastian also co-founded the production company, Elara Pictures alongwith Josh and Benny Safdie, further solidifying their bond. A 17-year-old alleged that she was offered a role in the film, Good Time, and was pressurised into filming a nude scene in front of a dozen male crew members without any prior heads-up about it. She further claimed that after the filming, she entered into a sexual relationship with Sebastian.
An 18-year-old accuser claimed that when she met Sebastian, he used his position in the film industry to “groom” her on Instagram. She alleged that he assaulted her by engaging in unprotected intimacy at the apartment he shared with his then-wife, Emily Ratajkowski, without her consent. An even younger alleged victim, aged 15, called out the actor for sending her inappropriate Instagram messages after she visited the set of Uncut Gems.
