An otherworldly innings from Rajasthan Royals opener Vaibhav Sooryavanshi (97 off 29 balls) helped his side defeat Sunrisers Hyderabad by 47 runs and progress to Qualifier 2.
Sooryavanshi was the standout performer across both teams, smashing the ball to all parts of the park to help RR post 243. For SRH, Nitish Kumar Reddy had the maximum impact, contributing with both bat and ball but his efforts did not prove to be enough as SRH were eliminated after today’s loss.
