Samsung has started the beta program of One UI 8.5 and this time the company has not limited it to just flagship or foldable phones. Now this beta update is also reaching many Galaxy A-series devices. One UI 8.5 is based on Android 16 QPR2 and new features and system improvements can be seen in it. Currently, this beta program has gone live in some selected countries including India.
Samsung’s according toThe One UI 8.5 beta program is currently available in markets like India, Korea, Germany, Poland, US, and UK. If your Galaxy device is included in this list and you live in a supported region, then you can test this beta update.
Talking about supported devices, it includes Galaxy S25 series (S25, S25+, S25 Ultra, S25 FE), Galaxy S24 series (S24, S24+, S24 Ultra, S24 FE) and Galaxy S23 series (S23, S23+, S23 Ultra). Apart from this, in the foldable segment, Galaxy Z Fold 7, Z Flip 7, Z Fold 6, Z Flip 6, Z Fold 5 and Z Flip 5 have also been included in this beta program. Galaxy A36 has also been included in this list for mid-range users.
The company says that more devices can be added to this list in the coming weeks, so that more users can get access to this update.
If you want to try One UI 8.5 beta, you will have to register through the Samsung Members app. After logging into the app, the banner of One UI Beta Program will appear, from where you can enroll in this program. After this, beta update can be downloaded and installed from Software Update section by going to Settings.
