According to Samsung, the Odyssey OLED G6 is the world’s first monitor with a refresh rate of 500Hz. With this high-frame rate screen, pro gamers will get a smoother and more responsive experience than ever before. Its QD-OLED panel technology claims to be capable of delivering better color accuracy and deep black output. It has VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500 support and the peak brightness can go up to 1,000 nits.
The Odyssey G6 monitor offers a resolution of 2560×1440 pixels and is equipped with Samsung’s Glare-Free technology, which claims to reduce reflections to a great extent. The company says that the monitor is Pantone-Validated and displays more than 2,100 color shades and 110+ skin tone shades in a realistic manner. It has OLED Safeguard+ technology to prevent screen burn-in during gaming sessions.
