Samsung Galaxy S26 Series Getting Strong Sales Compared to Samsung Galaxy S25 Series, Europe, Japan

South Korea’s consumer electronics maker Samsung’s smartphone series launched in February this year has received good response. The Samsung Galaxy S26 series consists of three models – Samsung Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+ and Galaxy S26 Ultra.

Market research firm Counterpoint Report According to , sales in the first six weeks of the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S26 series have been about 15 percent more than the Samsung Galaxy S25 series introduced last year. Along with this, Samsung’s total smartphone sales have also increased by about five percent as compared to the initial period of launch of Samsung Galaxy S25 series.

Due to initial demand in America and South Korea, there has been a double digit increase in sales of Samsung Galaxy S26 series. However, the demand for the new series has been less compared to the Samsung Galaxy S25 series in Japan and China. Sujeong Lim, Associate Director, Counterpoint, said, “Demand for the Samsung Galaxy S26 series has been strong in premium markets. This is due to customers’ greater spending power and the response to Artificial Intelligence (AI) related features.” There are signs of decline in sales after six weeks of the launch of this series.

Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra has had particularly strong sales in Europe. The reasons behind this are the lack of increase in the price of this smartphone as compared to Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra and the addition of new privacy display feature. Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra has a quad rear camera unit. This smartphone has a 200-megapixel wide-angle primary camera with f/1.4 aperture. It is accompanied by a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera and a 10-megapixel telephoto camera. The Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra packs a 5,000 mAh battery with support for 60 W wired fast charging and 25 W wireless charging. However, the worsening of macro economic conditions due to the Middle East crisis in the last few weeks may have an impact on the demand for this smartphone series. Samsung There are also plans to launch new foldable smartphones soon. Samsung has the highest share in the market of foldable smartphones.
