Samsung has shared some important details before the launch of its new smartphone Galaxy M17e 5G. The company has said that this smartphone will be launched in India on March 17. This new model of Galaxy M series will be provided with features like big battery, high refresh rate display and 5G connectivity. Looking at the specifications, it seems that this phone has been specially designed keeping in mind the users who are looking for a device for daily work, watching content and using social media.
Samsung’s according toThe Galaxy M17e 5G will have a 6.7-inch HD+ display, which will support 120Hz refresh rate. It will also have Adaptive Brightness and High Brightness Mode (HBM) features. Talking about design, the phone will come with 8.2mm slim body and it has a GFRP back panel. Apart from this, the phone will come with IP54 rating, which protects it to some extent from dust and water splashes.
For performance, MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor will be provided in Galaxy M17e 5G, with which Mali G57 GPU will be connected. Talking about the camera, this smartphone will have a 50-megapixel main camera, along with which a 2-megapixel depth sensor will be available. The phone has an 8 megapixel front camera for selfie and video calling.
For battery, Galaxy M17e 5G has a 6000mAh battery and the smartphone will run on Android 16 based One UI 8, in which features like Large Folders, Now Bar and Live Notifications will be available. Apart from this, the phone will also get support for features like Google Gemini AI Assistant and Circle to Search. For security, it has been provided with features like Samsung Knox Vault and Auto Blocker.
Samsung has also said that this phone will be given six OS upgrades and security updates for six years. At present its price has not been disclosed.
