Samsung has unveiled its new Galaxy Book 6 laptop during CES 2026. This lineup includes Galaxy Book 6 Ultra, Galaxy Book 6 Pro and standard Galaxy Book 6. The biggest feature of the new series is the Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors, which are said to be the first client chips built on Intel’s new 18A process. According to Samsung, this processor is capable of giving better output in terms of CPU, GPU and AI performance. The Galaxy Book 6 Ultra and Pro models feature a Dynamic AMOLED 2X panel and claim to deliver up to 30 hours of video playback on a full charge.
Galaxy Book 6 AI has been kept in special focus in the series. The Neural Processing Unit (NPU) present in these laptops can handle up to 50 trillion operations per second. The company says that with this, image editing, translation and other AI based tasks will be completed more quickly, that too without much dependence on the cloud. Galaxy AI features have also been integrated into Windows 11, which makes tasks like search, note summarization and image editing easier.
Talking about performance Galaxy Book 6 Ultra It is specially designed for power users and creators. It has the option of NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 or RTX 5060 Laptop GPU, which is considered better for video editing, 3D graphics and use of AI tools. At the same time, Samsung has also upgraded the cooling system in Pro and Ultra models. Vapor chamber cooling has been provided for the first time in the Pro series, while the cooling components have been further enlarged in the Ultra model.
In the display section, Galaxy Book 6 Ultra and Galaxy Book 6 Pro The models have a Dynamic AMOLED 2X panel, which supports 1,000 nits peak HDR brightness and adaptive refresh rate up to 120Hz. It has been provided with Vision Booster technology, which adjusts the color and contrast according to the surrounding light. It is provided with Gorilla Glass and DXC coating, which is claimed to reduce reflection and improve the durability of the screen.
Talking about battery and charging, Samsung says that Galaxy Book 6 Ultra and Pro can provide up to 30 hours of video playback on a single charge. With the help of fast charging support, more than half of the battery can be charged in about 30 minutes. For audio, the Galaxy Book 6 Ultra has a six-speaker system, which includes Dolby Atmos and force-canceling woofers. Additionally, there is better integration with Galaxy smartphones and tablets, making it easier to transfer files and share content between devices.
The Galaxy Book 6 series has been made slimmer than before. The Galaxy Book 6 Ultra is tipped to be 15.4mm thick, while the 16-inch Galaxy Book 6 Pro is just 11.9mm thin.
Talking about availability, the sale of Galaxy Book 6 Ultra, Galaxy Book 6 Pro and Galaxy Book 6 will start in select markets from the end of January 2026. These laptops will come in gray and silver color options. At the same time, Galaxy Book 6 Enterprise Edition will be launched in some countries in April 2026, which has been specially designed for managed IT environments.
