The teaser given by this sub-brand of Xiaomi has given information about the soon launch of Redmi Turbo 5 in India. It looks similar to this smartphone introduced in China. This will be the first smartphone of Redmi Turbo series in the country.

The Redmi Turbo 5 launched in China features a 6.59-inch 1.5K OLED display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz, Dolby Vision, high-frequency PWM dimming, and a peak brightness level of 3,500 nits. MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Ultra chipset has been given in this smartphone. It runs on Xiaomi HyperOS 3 based on Android 16.

The Redmi Turbo 5 sports a 50-megapixel primary camera with optical image stabilization (OIS) support and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera with support for 4K 60 fps video recording. The Redmi Turbo 5 packs a 7,560 mAh battery with support for 100 W fast charging and 27 W reverse charging. It has an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor for security.
