The company has launched Redmi 15A 5G in India. This new 5G smartphone comes with a 6.9-inch HD+ display, which has a 120Hz refresh rate. The phone has Unisoc T8300 processor and it has up to 6GB of RAM along with up to 6GB of virtual RAM support. For photography, there is an 8MP front camera and 32MP primary rear camera. The device runs on Xiaomi HyperOS 3.0 based on Android 16 and Xiaomi promises 4 years of Android updates and 6 years of security updates for the Redmi 15A 5G.
Redmi 15A 5G price in India, availability
The starting price of Redmi 15A 5G has been kept at Rs 12,999. Its 4GB + 64GB variant comes at Rs 12,999, 4GB + 128GB variant at Rs 14,499 and 6GB + 128GB variant at Rs 16,499. The phone will be available in Awesome Blue, Amaze Purple and Ace Black color options. It will be on sale from 3rd April mi.comwill be launched on Flipkart and offline stores.

Redmi 15A 5G has a 6.9-inch HD+ (1600 x 720 pixels) display, which has 120Hz refresh rate, 810 nits peak brightness. It also has DC dimming and TÜV Rhineland certification. Talking about the battery, Redmi 15A 5G has a large 6300mAh battery, which supports 15W fast charging and a charger is also available in the box. Apart from this, 7.5W reverse wired charging feature is also provided in it. According to the company, the battery can maintain up to 80 percent health even after 1000 charging cycles or about 3 years of use.
Redmi 15A 5G has an octa-core Unisoc T8300 6nm processor with Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. The smartphone comes with 4GB/6GB LPDDR4X RAM and 64GB/128GB UFS 2.2 storage, which can be expanded up to 1TB via microSD card. In the camera section, a 32MP primary camera and a secondary camera are available, while an 8MP front camera is provided for selfie.
Features like side-mounted fingerprint scanner, 3.5mm audio jack and FM radio are also available in the phone. It comes with an IP52 rating, so it can reportedly be protected from dust and light water splashes. For connectivity, it includes 5G, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS and USB Type-C port.
