Poco X8 Pro May Get MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Ultra Chipest, Listed on Geekbench, Xiaomi, Samsung, OnePlus

The new smartphone of Chinese handset maker Poco can be launched soon. Information about the specifications of Poco X8 Pro has been received from some leaks. This smartphone can have 12 GB RAM. It may replace the Poco X7 Pro introduced last year.

It may have HyperOS 3 based on Android 16. This smartphone can be launched next month with Poco X8 Pro Max.

Recently Poco X8 Pro has been spotted on Xiaomi’s website in Belgium. The price of 8 GB RAM and 256 GB storage variant of this smartphone is 399 Euro (approximately Rs 42,900), 8 GB + 512 GB is 449 Euro (approximately Rs 48,400) and 12 GB + 512 GB is 479 Euro (approximately Rs 51,600). Poco X8 Pro can be made available in White, Green and Black colors. This smartphone could be a rebranded version of Redmi Turbo 5 recently introduced in China.

The Redmi Turbo 5 features a 6.59-inch 1.5K OLED display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a peak brightness level of 3,500 nits. MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Ultra chipset has been used in this smartphone. It runs on HyperOS 3 based on Android 16. This smartphone has a metal frame and glass back panel. Redmi Turbo 5 has a 50-megapixel primary camera and 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera with optical image stabilization (OIS) support. Its front has a 20-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls. The 7,560 mAh battery of Redmi Turbo 5 supports 100 W fast charging and 27 W reverse charging. This smartphone has an in-display optical fingerprint sensor for security.
