Poco has launched its new budget 5G smartphone Poco C85x 5G in India. This is a new variant of the company’s Poco C85 which was launched in December last year. The phone has a 6.9-inch HD+ display, which supports 120Hz refresh rate. It has an 8MP front camera with notch design. As a processor, it has Unisoc T8300 chipset. Along with 4GB RAM, the smartphone also supports virtual RAM expansion up to 4GB. This phone runs on Android 16 based Xiaomi HyperOS.
Talking about the price, the 4GB + 64GB variant of Poco C85x 5G has been launched at Rs 10,999, while the price of 4GB + 128GB storage model has been kept at Rs 11,999. This phone will come in Black, Gold and Green color options. his sale Will be available on Flipkart from 14th March.
Coming to the specifications. Poco C85x 5G has a 6.9-inch HD+ display, which has a resolution of 1600 × 720 pixels and supports 120Hz refresh rate. According to the company, the display has 660 nits typical brightness and up to 810 nits peak brightness. Along with this, TÜV Rhineland Low Blue Light and Flicker Free certification has also been given.
For performance, the phone has an Octa Core Unisoc T8300 6nm processor, with which Mali G57 MC2 GPU is available. The phone has 64GB or 128GB UFS 2.2 storage with 4GB LPDDR4X RAM. If needed, the storage can be increased up to 1TB through microSD card.
Talking about the camera, Poco C85x 5G has a 32MP primary rear camera, along with which a secondary camera is also present. It has an 8MP front camera for selfie and video calling. For security, the phone has a side mounted fingerprint scanner.
In terms of battery, the phone has a 6300mAh battery which supports 15W fast charging and the charger is available in the box itself. According to the company, this battery can maintain about 80 percent health even after 1000 charging cycles or about 3 years of use. Apart from this, support for 7.5W reverse wired charging is also provided in the phone.
Connectivity features include 5G, dual 4G VoLTE, Wi Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, GLONASS, and USB Type C port. The phone also has a 3.5mm audio jack and FM radio. It comes with an IP52 rating, which claims to offer protection against dust and light water splashes.
