Oppo Reno 16 Series to Soon Launch, Pre-Reservations Begin, Vivo, Samsung, Xiaomi

The new smartphone series of Chinese handset maker Oppo will be launched soon. Oppo Reno 16 series may include two models. MediaTek Dimensity chipset can be given in these smartphones. Oppo Reno 15 series was introduced in November last year.

One on microblogging platform Weibo Post Oppo has said that the new smartphone series will be introduced in China this month. Pre-reservations for Oppo Reno 16 and Reno 16 Pro have started in China. The company has not given information about the launch of this smartphone series in the international market. Oppo Reno 16 may have a 6.32 inch 1.5K OLED display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. MediaTek Dimensity 8500 can be given as processor in this smartphone.

Oppo Reno 16 Pro can have a 6.78 inch 1.5K LTPO OLED display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. MediaTek Dimensity 9500s chipset can be found in this smartphone. The 7,000 mAh battery of Oppo Reno 16 Pro can support 80 W fast charging and wireless charging. The rear camera unit of both these smartphones may have a 200-megapixel primary camera with support for Optical Image Stabilization (OIS).

Earlier this year, Oppo Reno 15 FS 5G was launched in the international market. The dual-SIM smartphone features a 6.57-inch full HD+ (2,372 × 1,080 pixels) AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a peak brightness level of 1,400 nits. Gorilla Glass protection has been provided for its display. Oppo Reno 15 FS 5G has Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset and Adreno 710 GPU. It runs on ColorOS 16 based on Android 16. Its storage can be expanded up to 2 TB via microSD.
