MediaTek Dimensity 8500 chipset has been revealed in Motorola Edge 70 Pro+. The Dimensity 8500 chipset is an upper midrange chipset that is seen as a sub-flagship smartphone processor. It is made on 4nm processing. It can perform at par with the flagship level. Especially in smartphones above midrange, it is considered better for AI. Also, in affordable range, it is used as a better option for mobile gaming.

Motorola Edge 70 Pro+ is also going to be a performance centric phone. According to Geekbench, it has scored 1722 points in the single core test. Whereas in the multicore test it has scored 5623 points. The phone is said to have 12 GB RAM. It is going to come with Android 16 out of the box. However, earlier leaks suggest that a 16 GB RAM variant can also be seen in the phone.

Regarding the camera of Motorola Edge 70 Pro+, it has been revealed that the phone will have a 50-megapixel main camera with Sony LYT-710 lens. Along with this, the company is going to provide a 50 megapixel periscope telephoto lens. It is going to have 3.5x optical zoom feature. The phone is also likely to have wireless charging support. The company is going to offer this phone in many color variants which may include variants like Pantone Zinfandel, Pantone Stormy Sea, and Pantone Chicory Coffee. The price of the phone in India can be around Rs 50,000. The phone is likely to be launched in June.
