Apple on Wednesday launched its entry level laptop MacBook Air (2025) in India. This laptop comes with the company’s 10 core chipset M4. The company has launched the new laptop in 13 inch display and 15 inch display sizes. Both variants have Liquid Retina display. It has up to 16 GB RAM, and up to 2TB SSD storage. Apple Intelligence support is also provided in the laptop.

Pre-orders for MacBook Air (2025) have started. Its sale will start from March 12. The color options include Midnight, Silver, Sky Blue, and Starlight shades.

The MacBook Air (2025) comes in two display sizes, one being a 13-inch (2,560×1,664 pixels), and the other being a 15-inch (2,880×1,864 pixels) display model. These are equipped with Super Retina display. The pixel density is 224ppi while the peak brightness is 500nits. MacBook Air (2025) has M4 chip. It is a 10-core CPU which includes four performance cores and four efficiency cores are also provided separately. It has a 16-core neural engine and an 8-core GPU.

MacBook Air (2025) has the option of up to 24GB of RAM and up to 2TB of SSD storage. It has a quad speaker setup which supports Spatial Audio and 3-mic array. For connectivity, the laptop supports Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3. Apart from this, two Thunderbolt 4/ USB 4 ports, a MagSafe 3 charging port, and a 3.5mm audio jack are provided.

MacBook Air (2025) has a Touch ID button with the help of which the laptop can be unlocked. It has a Force Touch trackpad with force click and multi-touch gesture support. Apart from this, it comes with 1080p FaceTime camera with center stage and desk view support.

The 13-inch MacBook Air has a 53.8Wh lithium polymer battery. It supports 70W fast charging. The 15 inch variant has a 66.5Wh battery which is slightly bigger. The company claims that the laptop can provide 15 hours of backup for web browsing, while 18 hours of backup for video playback through Apple TV.
