Logitech has launched its new Mobi Fold, which is being touted as the company’s first ultra-portable foldable mouse. It is specially designed keeping in mind those professionals who travel frequently and work from airports, cafes, hotels or co-working spaces. Logitech Mobi Fold comes with features like foldable design, multi-device connectivity, Adaptive Touch Scrolling and up to 30 days of battery life. The company has also introduced Mobi Fold for Business version, which targets enterprise users.
The price of Logitech Mobi Fold has been kept at $79.99 (about Rs 7,600). Whereas the price of Mobi Fold for Business is $89.99 (about Rs 8,600). Both models in the global market Available Are. The Mobi Fold comes in Graphite, Lilac and Off-White color options, while the business version will be sold through authorized B2B channels.
The biggest feature of Mobi Fold is its foldable design. Users can transform it from compact form to a full-size mouse in one motion. As soon as the mouse is opened, it turns on automatically and turns off automatically when folded. There is no need to press the power button separately and it can be easily carried during travel.
Adaptive Touch Scrolling feature is provided in the mouse, which supports both fast and accurate scrolling. The company says that it can prove useful for tasks like spreadsheets, documents and web browsing. Apart from this, Quiet Click technology has also been provided, due to which the click sound is less audible while using it in public places. Logitech has also added an AI-based system to it, which helps in reducing accidental clicks while folding and unfolding.
For connectivity, Logitech Mobi Fold can connect to three devices simultaneously via Bluetooth. Users can quickly switch between devices with the help of a single button. It works with Windows, macOS, ChromeOS, Android, iPadOS, and Linux. The company claims that this is the first input device from Logitech to receive Fast Pair certification.
Keeping durability in mind, the mouse has been given a drop-tested body and dust-resistant silicone exterior. According to the company, its hinge has been designed to withstand daily folding for 15 years. With this, two years limited hardware warranty is also available.
Talking about battery, Logitech Mobi Fold can be used for 22 hours with just one minute of charging. It claims to provide up to 30 days of battery life on full charge. The Business Edition also comes with a Logi Bolt USB Type-C receiver for added security, which improves enterprise connectivity.
The company says that up to 36 percent post-consumer recycled plastic has been used in the Graphite variant. Apart from this, FSC certified material and recycled rare-earth magnets have also been used in the packaging.
