Lenovo has added the new IdeaPad Slim 5i (15IWC11) to its laptop lineup. The company has not yet given official information about its price and availability, but this model has been listed on Lenovo’s product specification website. The new laptop comes with Intel’s new Wildcat Lake processor. Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 5i has features like 120Hz touchscreen display, up to 32GB RAM and Copilot support.
Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 5i has been introduced in many global markets. The company has not yet disclosed its sale date. The laptop has been introduced in gray color finish. Its body design comes with aluminum chassis and weighs about 3.28 pounds i.e. about 1.48 kg. The laptop has a 15.3 inch IPS touchscreen display, which supports 120Hz refresh rate. Its resolution is 1920×1200 pixels and it comes with 16:10 aspect ratio. According to the company, the screen supports 400 nits brightness and sRGB color gamut coverage is also available.
For performance, Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 5i has Intel Core 5 320 and Intel Core 7 350 processor options. Both chips come with a 6-core design, which includes 2 performance cores and 4 efficiency cores. Apart from this, NPU i.e. Neural Processing Unit is also provided for AI features in the laptop, which supports the capacity of up to 17 TOPS. For this reason, it comes with Microsoft’s AI PC category support and Copilot Key is also provided in it.
The laptop has 16GB and 32GB RAM options. However, the RAM is soldered to the motherboard, so it cannot be upgraded later. For storage, it has M.2 SSD support up to 1TB.
Talking about battery, Lenovo is offering 54.7Wh and 70Wh battery options in this model. The company claims that the larger battery variant can provide up to 22.8 hours of backup on local 1080p video playback. However, battery backup may vary in actual use.
Talking about connectivity features, Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 5i has two USB Type-C ports, two USB Type-A ports, HDMI 2.1, microSD card reader and 3.5mm headphone jack. Apart from this, the laptop also has 1080p webcam, physical privacy shutter and Windows Hello face recognition support.
