Now, there has been a sign of good news for all the Karuppu fans as the film will be released in a couple of hours.
Karuppu movie now gets a new release date; fans can rejoice
If a report by The Times of India is to be believed, then Karuppu is now all set to release on May 15, 2026, instead of May 14, 2026. The report revealed that PVR Cinemas revealed new details related to the movie. Well, when the information was cross-verified, PVR Cinemas took to their social media handle to write that the movie is set to release on May 15, 2026. The post read:
“A pairing that defines effortless chemistry on screen — Suriya and Trisha Krishnan are back to take over the big screen. #Karuppu releasing at PVR INOX on May 15! Ticket link in bio. Well, the makers of the movie have not officially confirmed the information yet, as per the report. BollywoodShaadis could not independently verify the claims related to the same. The update gained a lot of traction, and fans are expecting a clear announcement related to the final release plans. If the post by PVR Cinemas is to be believed, then the movie will release on May 15, 2026.
Karuppu director, RJ Balaji, breaks down owing to the delay in the movie and says sorry to fans
Karuppu director, RJ Balaji, had shared a video on his Instagram handle, where he was seen addressing his fans while he was inside the car. In the clip, he had said hello to all and that he was there to give an update. He hoped that it was the last one. He said sorry to all the fans and that the delay shouldn’t have happened. The emotional filmmaker broke down and said:
“I know people travelled to watch this film in Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, and other places. I’m really sorry for that. I am really hopeful the issues will be resolved by 6 PM this evening. I am manifesting for Karuppu to be released on May 14 and for it to become a blockbuster. I am very hopeful. A lot of people have let go of so many things. Suriya sir has given so much. So, sorry for the delay. Sorry for making you go through all this stress. But it’ll all be worth it when the film releases this evening.”
