itel has launched its new Inno Series in the Indian market. Under this series, the company has introduced itel Aqua feature phone. The company claims that this is the only feature phone in India which comes with IP67 rating. This means that the device is designed to provide protection against water and dust. Apart from this, AI Environmental Noise Cancellation (ENC) feature is also provided in the phone, the purpose of which is to improve the calling experience in noisy environments. According to the company, the new Inno Series has been designed keeping in mind the everyday challenges.
price and Availability Talking about itel Aqua, the price has been kept at Rs 1,799. This feature phone will be available in Blue, Red and Black color options. Customers can buy it from retail stores across the country.
itel said through a press release that an internal survey conducted by the company revealed that about 42 percent of the reasons for replacing feature phones are due to water damage. Keeping this in mind, IP67 rating has been given in itel Aqua. The company claims that this device can withstand being in water for 30 minutes. It has also been designed to be used in dusty, muddy and humid environments.
To improve the calling experience, AI Environmental Noise Cancellation (ENC) feature has been provided in the phone. According to the company, this technology helps in reducing background noise in noisy places like market, factory, construction site and traffic, so that the voice can be heard more clearly during the call.
itel Aqua has a 2.4 inch display. To power the phone, a 1200mAh battery is available. The company has also provided Type-C charging port in it, which is rarely seen in feature phones of this price range.
Talking about accessibility features, King Voice feature is provided in it, which is capable of narrating menu, message and call related information through voice in Hindi and English. Apart from this, the phone also supports 10 regional languages.
Other features include wireless FM radio, FM recording, auto call recording, Bluetooth connectivity and support for expandable storage up to 32GB. Up to 1,000 contacts can be saved in the phonebook. The company says that this device has been designed keeping in mind those users who want basic communication and entertainment features along with a strong design.
