Lucknow Super Giants and Chennai Super Kings will observe a minute of silence ahead of their IPL 2026 clash at the Ekana Stadium in Lucknow on May 15.
The two sides will do so in remembrance of the victims of the ongoing storms in Uttar Pradesh.
Both Lucknow Super Giants and Chennai Super Kings along with officials will wear black armbands as well.
Over 100 people were reported to have lost their lives on Wednesday and Thursday after heavy rains and thunderstorms, while several more suffered injuries.
The districts of Barabanki, Bahraich, Kanpur Dehat, Basti, Sambhal, Hardoi, and Unnao are among the most severely affected.
