India will be out to win its first Women’s T20 World Cup in the tenth edition of the event in England and Wales from later this month.
Harmanpreet Kaur’s side has been handed a tough draw, having been drawn in Group 1 along with Australia, South Africa, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Netherlands.
It will begin its campaign with a clash against neighbor Pakistan in Birmingham on June 14.
The 12 teams in the tournament have been split into two groups of six, with the top two from each progressing to the semifinals.
