Googlebook Official Android Based AI Laptop Gemini Intelligence Magic Pointer Features Announced

Google is preparing a new experiment in the laptop market. Nearly 15 years after launching Chromebook, the company is now working on new laptops under the name “Googlebook”. These devices will run on Android based system instead of ChromeOS and deep integration of Gemini AI can be seen in them.

In these new laptops, Google and DeepMind have created a new feature called “Magic Pointer”. If the user moves the mouse cursor, Gemini can make different suggestions based on what is visible on the screen. For example, if a date is visible in an email, Gemini might show the option to create a calendar event directly. On selecting two photos, AI can also do things like mixing them.

The feature of creating prompt based widget can also be provided in Googlebook. The user can simply type in what they want and Gemini will create a custom widget by taking information from Gmail, Calendar or other Google services and the web.

Since this system will be Android based, it can be more deeply integrated with Android smartphones. The company has said that users will be able to open phone apps directly on the laptop screen. Apart from this, through the Quick Access feature, the files of the phone can be accessed directly from the laptop without uploading them to the cloud.

For hardware, Google is reportedly working with companies like Acer, Asus, Dell, HP and Lenovo. Premium materials can reportedly be used in these laptops and they can also be given a special globar design to differentiate them from normal Chromebooks. At present, Google has not shared the price and launch date information, but the company can reveal more details related to it by the end of this year.
