When Jin Ze was in college, he had created his own fashion brand, which was called Garvey Zhang. He had a love for design, and in 2016 he gave wings to his acting career. It was reportedly through a mystery music program Seeing Your Voice broadcast by Jiangsu Satellite, that gave wings to Jin’s career. His agency, in an official statement speaking about his demise, had shared:
“We announce with profound sorrow that our contracted actor Jin Ze (Zhang Jiawei) died at his home in Hangzhou on June 4, 2026.”
