Apple has announced the dates of its annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) 2026. The event will be held from June 8 to June 12, starting with the keynote on June 8. Like every year, this time too at WWDC the company will present its new software updates, which will include new operating systems for iPhone, iPad, Mac and other devices. In recent years, this event has been seen focusing more on software and Apple Intelligence rather than hardware, due to which big software announcements are expected this time too.

Like every year, this year too Apple has not shared hints of upcoming products in its release. According to recent leaks and reports, WWDC will be held in 2026. Apple iOS 27may introduce new versions like macOS 27, iPadOS 27, watchOS 27, visionOS 27 and tvOS 27. These updates can bring new features and better performance for different devices of the company.
However, most of the attention is expected to be on the announcement related to AI. Apple may introduce long-delayed Siri upgrades and new Apple Intelligence features, which will likely be supported by Google’s Gemini AI. Like every year, soon after the keynote, developers are expected to get the first beta builds of new software. All these upgrades are likely to be released to the general public by the end of the year.
Apple Vice President Susan Prescott said in a statement that “WWDC is a special occasion for the company, where developers from around the world come together and celebrate technology, innovation and collaboration.”
During this time, the company also supports student developers through Swift Student Challenge. This year’s winners will be announced on March 26 and may get a chance to attend a special event held at Apple Park. Apart from this, 50 Distinguished Winners will be called to Cupertino and given a special experience for three days.
