Twisha Sharma, a 33-year-old woman, was found dead at her marital home in Bhopal in mysterious circumstances on May 12, 2026. Her death doesn’t seem normal. Her mother-in-law, who is a retired district judge, and her son, Samarth Singh, who is an advocate, have been booked under the pretext of mental harassment and domestic violence to extract more dowry. On top of it, Twisha’s last messages further confirms her pain and agony she went through.

Twisha Sharma’s heartbreaking last texts surface

For those who don’t know, Twisha Sharma hailed from Noida in Uttar Pradesh. As per reports, she hanged herself at the house of her husband, Samarth, on May 12, 2026. Reportedly, the two met on a dating app in 2024 and tied the knot in December 2025. Her last WhatsApp conversation has made it on the internet, wherein Twisha was expressing her anxiety to her friend. Twisha told her friend that she was sitting at home and wanted to do something meaningful with her life. 

She also talked about how marriage might create a family, but a person cannot stop working on themselves. In the same chat, Twisha advised her friend not to rush to get married and to think before tying the knot. When the friend questioned if she was fine, Twisha said that she was fine, but missed her home and her friend. 

In another conversation with Twisha, via Instagram Direct Message, Twisha looked more worried and tense. She reportedly shared that she felt trapped and told her friend that she should not get stuck in anything like that. She further stated that she could not talk much and would call at the right time. 

Twisha Sharma’s mysterious death

As per the post-mortem report it stated that Twisha died of hanging, the family then accused her in-laws of mental harassment and sought a fresh post-mortem examination at AIIMS Delhi. For the unversed, Twisha was a former Miss Pune and had also appeared in the Telugu film, Mugguru Monagallu. Talking about Twisha’s education, she holds an MBA degree and has worked for many years in Delhi. 


Twisha’s family claimed that she was subjected to mental harassment and was pressurised to get more dowry after marriage. She was even subjected to domestic violence. The family accused her husband and mother-in-law of the reason behind her death. The family further claimed that Twisha called her mother at 10:05 p.m. on the night of the incident and talked about the harassment she was suffering at her matrimonial home. Twisha’s brother revealed that the call ended abruptly after her husband entered the room. After which, the family kept trying to contact Twisha and her husband, Samarth and her mother-in-law, Giribala Singh. But they received no response. 

At 10:15 p.m., the mother-in-law of Twisha answered the call, and the family asked them to check on Twisha. After which, at 10:20 p.m., they were informed that Twisha wasn’t breathing, and she was rushed to the hospital. The doctors declared her dead on arrival. The family claimed that there was a delay in providing the treatment despite the hospital being only 10 minutes away from their home.
