While the duo had already been facing intense backlash for their alleged extramarital affair, fans became convinced of the speculations with the release of more pictures, especially one where they can be seen seemingly kissing in a dimly lit bar in Manhattan, New York. With the situation escalating in recent weeks, NFL analyst, Jason Whitlock is questioning whether Mike can survive the Dianna Russini saga.

Well, with the story in the spotlight, netizens as well as NFL analysts have been constantly picking at the duo. Recently, NFL analyst, Jason Whitlock took to his X handle and did not hold back. He wrote, “If the Dianna Russini/Mike Vrabel saga ever becomes a 30 for 30, I have a perfect title: The Love Bloat.’ He claimed that the whole Dianna Russini and Mike Vrabel saga has become “a spin-off of the 80s TV show ‘The Love Boat,’ except this boat is sinking like the Titanic.”

In his X (formerly Twitter) post, Jason Whitlock expanded on his concerns about the Mike Vrabel and Dianna Russini controversy. He said, “This is a story that won’t quit giving…This story has gotten so bloated, it’s become such a distraction.” He concluded by saying, “For the first time, I’m now stating, I don’t think Mike Vrabel’s gonna survive this. I’m not sure if he should survive this.” His statements go to show just how the noise can also become as important as facts in situations like this.

Mike Vrabel’s unseen boat ride clip with a pregnant Dianna Russini surfaces amid alleged affair drama 

On May 7, 2026, TMZ shared an unseen video of Mike Vrabel with a pregnant Dianna Russini. For those unaware, Dianna is married to Shake Shack senior executive, Kevin Goldshmidt, with whom she has two sons, Michael and Joey. According to reports, at the time when the now-viral clip was taken, Dianna was in her first pregnancy. The video shows the duo walking on the dock of a private rental company back in June 2021. Reportedly, Dianna and Mike were prepared to head out onto a lake in Putnam County, TN.

According to TMZ, it is believed that the video captured Dianna when she was 6-7 months pregnant. The outlet further claimed that it was none other than the Patriots’ head coach, Mike Vrabel, who wanted to keep their weekend private and low-key. A report by Page Six added that the pair were cautious about their photos not being taken when they were renting a private boat together, so that they could spend some quality time.
