Although detailed information on Jaime Pressly and Simran Singh’s relationship remains unknown, they reportedly met in 2009 and got engaged in the same year. The news was confirmed by Jaime’s representative while speaking to PEOPLE in July 2009. The outlet stated that Jaime revealed the news to her friends when she was helping singer Nicole Scherzinger with her birthday celebration. One of the guests said:
“Jaime was showing off a huge diamond engagement ring on her left hand. Girlfriends were coming up to her and they were all congratulating her on the engagement.”

While the news of Jaime Pressly and Simran Singh’s engagement was revealed in July 2009, they tied the knot in September 2009. Jaime’s representative told PEOPLE that the wedding ceremony was attended by the pair’s close friends and family members at the Dick Clark estate in Malibu. Pressly opted for an outfit that was designed by Jenny Packham. Jaime’s son, Dezi James, was also present on the occasion.

Jaime Pressly is currently a mother of three children. She has two twins born from her longtime romance with Hamzi Hijazi since 2011. Before Simran Singh, she was romantically linked to Eric Calvo, and they share a child, born in 2007. Jaime and Simran did not have any children during the period when they were married. Pressly filed for divorce due to irreconcilable differences in January 2011, and the legal documents revealed that they had separated in December 2010.

Notably, Jaime requested the court to reject any kind of spousal support to Simran. Around ten months later, the divorce was finalised in November 2011. According to E! News, the divorce was settled with Jaime getting the household furniture and other personal items that were already in her possession, along with a car, and the bank accounts active in her name. Apart from that, she became the sole owner of a company, J’aime Productions, and was allowed to keep a property in Sherman Oaks. She was even allowed to keep the rights and money from the sales of any product that was associated with her.

Jaime Pressly was ordered to make an equalisation payment of USD 45,000 to Simran Singh. On the other hand, Simran was allowed to keep similar things, such as the bank accounts and the businesses under his name. He also got a 2007 BMW 750LI under his possession and was allowed to retain a house in Miami Beach.

When the news of Jaime Pressly and Simran Singh’s divorce went viral, certain reports claimed that it happened due to the former’s legal issue, where she was arrested on DUI charges in January 2011. While speaking to ExtraTV in February 2011, Jaime clarified that the reports were not true. She continued by saying:
“I don’t ever want my son grow up and read all these false statements. I have no problem saying that I’m responsible for my actions. I’m also human and never claimed to be perfect. We fell in love quickly. We got married very quickly. It didn’t work out the way we wanted it to. There’s nothing more to it.”
Jaime said that she was heartbroken to read false claims related to her divorce, adding that she cannot explain how she felt during that period. Pressly said that she has witnessed people making mistakes, and she does not intend to do the same.
