The finale of Netflix’s Legends follows the undercover Customs team as they close in on two powerful drug gangs led by ‘Carter’ and ‘Hakan’. The two groups have united to smuggle 200 kg of heroin into Britain. However, soon ‘Carter’ discovers that ‘Eddie’ has been helping the authorities and orders for him to be killed. The latter manages to escape threatening the operations, as despite several setbacks ‘Guy’, ‘Don’, ‘Bailey’, ‘Kate’ and ‘Erin’ successfully allow the shipment to proceed before armed police raid the final handover.
The finale focuses on the arrests and seizing drugs. Afterwards, the undercover unit is shut down, and the officers receive no public recognition. ‘Blake’ and ‘Don’ quietly thank the team as they return to ordinary life, while the group shares a final celebration and ‘Guy’ reunites with his family.
‘Guy’ helps bring down the 200 kg heroin operation
The final stage of the undercover operation in Legends turns out to be more dangerous than any of us anticipated. ‘Carter’ finds out ‘Eddie’ has been secretly helping the cops while ‘Hakan’ grows suspicious of ‘Guy’ and removed him from the job stating that he will still be paid for his work so far. The gangs change their plan and decide to move the 200 kg heroin through Germany before bringing it into the UK. Meanwhile, ‘Guy’ is suspended from active duty by Don after his return. As he tries to settle back with his wife, ‘Sophie’ and daughter, he finds himself struggling to adjust after being undercover for so long.

Things take a turn when during a trip to the zoo, a Turkish gang recognises him forcing ‘Guy’ to stay in character to protect his identity. ‘Sophie’ notices the tension and tells him to finish the mission properly and stay away from them until it is over. Meanwhile, the government decides to shut down Op. Legends as ‘Margaret Thatcher’s’ time in office comes to an end. However, ‘Blake’ manages to convince officials to let the team complete the operation, but without extra support or funding. ‘Erin’, ‘Bailey’ and ‘Kate’ disrupt the gang’s transport plans in Germany, allowing ‘Guy’ to rejoin the mission.

They travel by boat to transport shipment back to Britain. However, things change again as their boat is hit by a violent storm, forcing them to abandon the boat and escape on a life raft, but they still manage to protect the drugs and complete the mission.

‘Hakan’, ‘Carter’ and ‘Eddie’s’ fate
‘Hakan’ and ‘Carter’ become increasingly cautious after discovering that ‘Eddie’ has been secretly helping authorities. However, as the final stage begins, ‘Guy’ delievers the heroin shipment as the gangs inspect the drugs before handing over the money and releasing ‘Mylonas’ back to him. After the exchange the two gang leaders attempt to escape through the roof while their men prepare to kill ‘Guy’ and ‘Mylonas’, but ‘Guy’ manages to secretly warns ‘Don’ about their escape route and creates a distraction just before armed officers storm the scene.

Police arrest several gang members, including ‘Carter’, who comes face-to-face with ‘Kate’ during the raid. On the other hand, ‘Hakan’ manages to escape and hides inside a nearby apartment after asking a woman for shelter, who calmly assures him that she knows him before telling him, “You are entrusted to God.” Only for ‘Hakan’ to soon realises that she is ‘Zeki’s’ mother, the same ‘Zeki’ he had previously betrayed. In the next scene ‘Hakan’ appears to lose consciousness before the police later break into the apartment, suggesting that he was arrested as well.

‘Eddie’, who has escaped after ‘Carter’ discovered his betrayal, is later contacted by ‘Bailey’, who tells him that the gang leader has been caught. ‘Eddie’, who had sworn to kill ‘Carter’ himself if the police failed to stop him, finally feels that his dead son had been avenged. For the unversed, ‘Eddie’ previously blamed ‘Carter’ for the heroin trade that led to his son’s death. In the end, ‘Eddie’ is seen peacefully with his daughter in an undisclosed location.

Legends’ final scene explained
After the mission is finally over, Legends ends with ‘Guy’ finally returning home to ‘Sophie’ and their daughter after months spent undercover. While the operation was a success, ‘Guy’ still struggled with leaving his identity behind. In the final scene, ‘Guy’ is seen lying awake beside ‘Sophie’ when he hears a car screech to a stop, followed by its door shutting outside. Alarmed, he gets out of bed and looks through the window, watching a car drive away as he stands there staring into the distance.

The moment is unsettling, showing that ‘Guy’ is still constantly on edge even after the danger is over. The ending reflects on ‘Don’s’ earlier warning about working undercover. For the unversed, he had explained that while the team eventually returned to their normal lives, the legends never leave them and they would constantly be looking over their shoulder. The final scene shows that ‘Guy’ may never return from the mission and its aftermath completely and remain trapped between his real life and the identity he created undercover.
