On June 10, 2026, Sapna Choudhary shared a cryptic post on her Instagram after filing a domestic violence case. She shared a reel, dancing to a song. Along with it, she penned a heartfelt note talking about people saying something or the other. She added that you just go deaf and keep smiling. She wrote:
“Suno Sakhi… kuch toh log kahege, warna bechare jinda kaise rahege, unka kaam hai kehna. You just become behra and and maintain a smile on your chehra.”
Sapna Choudary filed a domestic violence case against her husband
It comes as a shock after Sapna Choudhary filed a domestic violence case against her husband, Veer Sahu, in Dwarka Mahila Court in New Delhi. She also urged for an interim relief under the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act. As her film, Momacu, premieres on June 10, 2026. Her husband cannot approach or visit her residence, workplace or the premiere venue of her film.
Sapna’s advocate revealed that they wanted protection from the husband and restricted him from approaching her to provide immediate protection to her. However, they added that since the matter is already in court, they cannot give more remarks on the same. She said:
“The interim protection granted by the learned Court under the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act in favour of my client against her husband underscores the object of the law- to provide immediate protection where circumstances warrant. As the matter is sub judice, we will refrain from commenting on the merits and have full faith in the judicial process.”
Sapna Choudhary welcomed her second child in 2024
Sapna Choudhary, who is a famous Haryanvi dancer who appeared on the reality show Bigg Boss 11, is the mother of two kids. In 2024, Sapna welcomed a second child with her husband, Veer Sahu. Sapna, who likes to keep her personal life private, hosted a grand naming ceremony for her newborn, and thousands of fans, celebrities, and social media influencers attended. Baby Maan was seen revealing Sapna and Veer’s son’s name—Shah Veer. The ceremony was attended by celebrities from Haryanavi and Punjabi films.
On December 15, 2020, Sapna had shared the first-ever picture with her little prince. In the picture, we can see the gorgeous mommy donning a purple-hued sweater with a black glistening cap and looking adorable, holding her baby boy in her arms.

When Neelam was asked about the reason behind going for a court marriage instead of a proper wedding, she revealed the heartbreaking news of Veer Sahu’s uncle’s demise. She had stated that his uncle had passed away in January, and that is why, instead of a big celebration, they had opted for the court marriage.
