Nancy Guthrie Case, Meet Alex Zabel And DAA Juice, All About The YouTubers' Arrest Amid Probe

Nancy Guthrie has been missing from her Arizona residence for over four months now, and while there have been several revelations and clues, nothing has yet been left to her whereabouts. Amid that, reports have alleged that the police have arrested two true crime YouTubers named Alex Zabel and DAA Juice for the ‘pee tent’ allegations.

Alex Zabel and DAA Juice were arrested by Prima County Police

Nancy Guthrie’s case has taken a new turn after two true-crime YouTubers were arrested outside her Tucson, Arizona, home. The incident has shifted attention from the investigation itself to the growing influence of online content creators who closely follow active criminal cases. However, while the authorities have not stopped these coverages before, the arrest follows the authorities’ claims that the situation crossed legal boundaries. On the other hand, online communities argue that it highlights tension between public-interest reporting and the disruption of police investigations.

On June 8, 2026 (ET), law enforcement detained two true-crime YouTubers near Nancy Guthrie’s home. The two YouTubers were Alexander Zabel, known as Alex Zabel, and Troy Bradshaw, widely known as DAA Juice. The two were taken into custody following a call reporting a disturbance and obstruction. Alex was charged with obstructing a roadway and public nuisance, while Troy was charged with public nuisance. Another local content creator was briefly detained and later released with a citation, while officials said repeated warnings had been issued to stay away from the property during the ongoing investigation.

Who are Alex Zabel and DAA Juice?

According to reports, Alex Zabel runs a true-crime-focused channel called CriminalNetwork and has built a following of over 22,000 subscribers, while his content includes coverage of cold cases and ongoing investigations. This also includes high-profile disappearances, such as Nancy Guthrie’s. On the other hand, Troy Bradshaw, known as DAA Juice, has a slightly smaller audience of around 19,000 subscribers. He originally gained attention through gaming content before shifting into live coverage of crime-related developments. Both creators had been regularly posting from Tucson as interest in the case grew online.

What are the charges against DAA Juice and Alex Zabel?

According to court documents and local reports, Alex Zabel set up a makeshift outdoor setup described as a “pee tent” near the neighbourhood. The authorities labelled it as “disruptive and inappropriate”. Troy Bradshaw, aka DAA Juice, was also accused of causing public disturbance while livestreaming, while police described the behaviour as interfering with community peace and raising safety concerns. Amid the arrest, the situation escalated quickly once livestream footage began circulating online, drawing thousands of viewers in real time. Enderle said on his livestream after capturing the moment his pal was cuffed:

“They have officially arrested DAA JUICE. They are taking him to Pima County Jail as we speak right now. We need to get lawyers. We are being targeted.”

What do the netizens have to say about the arrest?

The arrest has left the netizens divided. While some support the YouTubers, others have claimed this has just interfered with the investigation process. Supporters have been saying that independent creators have helped keep attention on cold or stalled cases, sometimes filling gaps left by traditional media. Meanwhile, critics have alleged that the behaviour blurred the line between reporting and intrusion, especially in sensitive areas connected to an active investigation.

Nonetheless, while the Pima County Sheriff’s Office faced criticism online, officials defended their actions as necessary enforcement of local laws. The incident reflects a larger trend in which true crime content has moved from documentaries to live streaming. While this rapid interest has led to a more extensive coverage, it has also raised concerns about ethics and privacy.
