Realme 15 16 Pro Series Price Hike India Upto 4000 Rupees Amid Chip Shortage Details Inside

Realme has increased the prices of its recently launched Realme 16 Pro series and standard Realme 15 smartphones. According to different variants, the price has been increased by Rs 3,000 to Rs 4,000. The new prices are now visible on the company’s official website. It is being told that this increase is related to the increasing cost of memory components and chipsets, the effect of which is being seen on the entire smartphone industry.

Tipster Abhishek Yadav shared a screenshot of an email on his X handle, which the company has reportedly sent to its partners. That email said that this price adjustment has been made due to the increase in the cost of memory, chipset and overall smartphone production. According to the updated list Realme 15 (8GB + 128GB) is now available at Rs 28,999, which was earlier launched at Rs 25,999. Similarly, the price of 12GB + 256GB variant has increased from Rs 29,999 to Rs 32,999. The prices of all variants under the Realme 16 Pro series have also been increased. as an example Realme 16 Pro (8GB + 128GB) price has increased from Rs 31,999 to Rs 34,999, while Realme 16 Pro+ (12GB + 256GB) is now listed at Rs 48,999.

There have been challenges in the industry in the past regarding the supply of memory and chipsets. In such a situation, the direct impact of increasing costs is falling on the customers. It is not clear at the moment whether other brands will also make similar increases, but Realme has updated the prices in its recently launched series.
