Car Sales May 2026: Maruti Records 34% Jump, Hyundai, Mahindra & Toyota See 11% Growth

Auto mobile companies have released monthly sales reports today (June 1). Maruti Suzuki sold a total of 2,42,688 lakh vehicles in May, which is 34% more than 1,80,077 units sold in May-2025.

This is a new record for selling the highest number of vehicles in a month by any company in India. Along with the Indian market (domestic sales), exports to foreign countries have also played a major role in the company’s growth.

At the same time, Hyundai sold 47,837 more cars with 9% growth across India in May and Mahindra sold 58,021 more cars with 11% growth across India. Let us know how many vehicles of which company were sold in the country last month.
