Vivo has launched its new smartphone Vivo Y37+ in China. This is a new model of the company’s Y series, which has features like big battery and 5G connectivity. According to the company, the phone has a 6.74 inch LCD display, which supports 90Hz refresh rate. It is provided with MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor, 13 megapixel rear camera and 6000mAh battery. This smartphone runs on Android 15 based OriginOS 5.
Talking about the price, Vivo has priced the 8GB + 256GB variant of Vivo Y37+ at 1,599 Yuan (about Rs 21,400). The phone has been introduced in Obsidian Black, Glaze Blue and Sunrise Gold color options. It is currently available on the company’s official website. Vivo Y37+ has a 6.74 inch LCD flat display, whose resolution is 1600 × 720 pixels. It supports 90Hz refresh rate, 180Hz touch sampling rate and brightness up to 1000 nits. The screen comes with 70 percent NTSC color gamut and 1500:1 contrast ratio. For battery, the phone has a 6000mAh battery, which supports 44W fast charging. The company claims that the battery life can last up to five years. Apart from this, reverse charging (OTG) support is also available in it, through which other devices can be charged.
Talking about the camera, Vivo Y37+ has a 13-megapixel rear camera, which comes with autofocus and f/2.2 aperture. It has camera modes like Night, Portrait, Panorama and Pro. The rear camera supports 10x digital zoom and can record 1080p video. For selfie and video calling, the phone has a 5 megapixel front camera, which supports 1080p video recording.
The phone runs on MediaTek Dimensity 6300 octa core processor, which has Mali G57 GPU. It has 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB UFS 2.2 storage. Up to 8GB virtual RAM can also be added with the help of Memory Fusion feature.
For connectivity, the phone has features like 5G, Dual Nano SIM, Wi Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, GPS and USB Type C port. Apart from this, it also has side mounted fingerprint sensor, IR remote control and 3.5mm headphone jack. The phone comes with SGS certified drop resistance.
