Anthony Guidera, the much-loved actor, who was best-known for his role in The Godfather Part III has tragically passed away. Reportedly, the Hollywood actor was on life support for the past three weeks, before his sudden demise on June 6, 2026. A while ago, his wife, Valarie Guidera confirmed his unexpected death and also revealed the cause of his death.
Anthony Guidera’s wife reveals the cause of his death
A while ago, on June 9, 2026, Anthony’s wife, Valarie spoke to TMZ, during which she confirmed the tragic passing of her husband. Talking about the cause of his death, reportedly, on May 11, 2026, Anthony collapsed at his home in California, following which he was rushed to the hospital. Eventually, he was put on life support. A few days before his death, he was removed from the ventilator. After which, the actor unexpectedly suffered a cardiac arrest and passed away.
It is worth mentioning that the reason behind the sudden cardiac arrest has not been revealed. As per reports, after the death of Anthony, his wife took to her Facebook handle to confirm the heartbreaking news. For those who do not know, Anthony married Valarie nearly 2 decades ago and the couple have a son named Nick. Valarie’s post can be read as:
“It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved Anthony. We are devastated and trying to breathe through the impossible, taking each moment as it comes. Please hold this eternal light in your hearts and our family in your prayers.”
Anthony Guidera’s close friend pens a heartfelt tribute
Soon after Anthony Guidera passed away, one of his close friends named Tina Hillstrom took to her Instagram handle to pen a heartfelt tribute for the late actor. She shared a collage of images with Anthony and recalled their beautiful journey. She also mentioned Anthony’s wife, Valarie in the lengthy tribute. Soon after the post, Valarie also commented on it. For those who do not know, Anthony Guidera was a popular Hollywood actor, who was best-known for his role in projects like The Godfather Part III, Species, The Rock, The Postman, Baywatch, ER, Armageddon and more. Talking about his journey, he was reportedly born in California and completed college in 1983. In his entire career, one of the most memorable moments came in 1996, when he won the MTV Award for Best Kiss, alongside Natasha Henstridge. The duo starred in the project, Species.
