A former employee of JPMorgan levied serious allegations against his superior, Lorna Hajdini, last month after he claimed that she made him her sex slave. For the unversed, as per the Daily Mail, the complainant, who filed a lawsuit against Hajdini under the pseudonym of John Doe (his actual name is Chirayu Rana), accused her of sexual assault, racial harassment, and drugging, among others.
Chirayu Rana claims new filings against Lorna Hajdini
As the case made headlines after the serious claims, it now seems like Chirayu is pulling the plug on a “comprehensive” federal lawsuit. Rana and his new team of lawyers, in new filings, claim that the original suit against Lorna Hajdini had left out crucial federal violations, which also included race discrimination, retaliation and interference with family and medical leave.

According to the latest documents filed in the Manhattan Supreme Court, Rana’s new attorney, Jon L. Norinsberg, stated that the case was distorted by many versions and sensational headlines. Not just this, Rana’s attorneys also cited First Amendment defences in response to Hajdini’s counterclaim of defamation. As per his lawyer:
“Some or all of the statements at issue are not actionable under the First Amendment and New York law because they constitute statements of opinion or rhetorical hyperbole. This countersuit is a transparent act of retaliation, a desperate effort to punish Mr. Rana for having the courage to report the racism and abuse he suffered.”

Lorna Hajdini and Chirayu Rana controversy explained
According to the lawsuit filed against Lorna Hajdini in the New York Supreme Court, the plaintiff, Chirayu Rana, alleged that Lorna Hajdini began to abuse him after joining his team in 2024. The complainant accused Hajdini of using her position to pressure him into repeated sexual activities. He also alleged that she threatened his career, bonuses, and promotional opportunities if he rejected her advances. Not just this, the complainant also revealed that Hajdini drugged him with a date-rape drug against his will and abused him racially, as terms like ‘my brown boy’ were used to address him.

In his complaint, Doe mentioned that Lorna allegedly invited him for a drink, and as he refused, she threatened to ruin him. As per the lawsuit, Lorna told John he would have to start pleasing her if he wanted to get promoted and also accessed his bank accounts to track his every move. Lorna also allegedly landed up at John Doe’s apartment and made sexual advances at him. When he didn’t comply with her advances, she started using racial slurs at him and his wife.

JPMorgan branded John Doe’s sexual harassment complaint as ‘a complete fabrication’
In May 2025, Chirayu delivered a written complaint to JPMorgan, where he complained about gender-based discrimination and harassment, and a pattern of severe sexual abuse. But instead of addressing the issue, he was reprimanded, put on involuntary leave, and locked out of the company system, as he shared. On the other hand, JP Morgan strongly denied the allegations and announced that it had initiated a thorough internal probe. A spokesperson for the band said that the HR department and in-house lawyers reviewed team phone records and emails and found no evidence supporting his claims.
