Twisha Sharma’s death at the age of 33 has reignited the issue of marital problems women often deal with. While her family alleges that she died due to her in-laws and her husband, the in-laws denied the same and claimed that Twisha was schizophrenic. However, Twisha’s chats with her mother and her friends revealed another story that she was in a traumatic relationship.
Twisha Sharma’s co-star expressed shock over her death
As per reports, Twisha Sharma was reportedly two months pregnant at the time of her death, but her child was aborted. For the unversed, Twisha had acted in two films, Mugguru Monagallu and Zara Sambhal Kay. She even won Miss Pune and later switched to her corporate job. Her co-star from her Telugu film, Dheekshith Shetty, expressed shock at her sudden demise.
In an interview with the Hindustan Times, Shetty shared that it was shocking news for him. He called a committed and hard-working girl, who had a passion for whatever she did. She was full of life and it was shocking to know that she died by suicide. Deekshath further revealed that he had no idea she was married. He said:
“It’s very shocking news. I had always known her as this committed, hard-working girl who had a passion for whatever she was doing. She was so full of life, and it’s shocking to know that she took her own life. I didn’t even know that she got married. We worked on that one film and then she went back to her place. She told me that she wanted to do her master’s degree and acting was not up to the mark of what she was expecting it to be. Her brother was in the Army and she realised it wasn’t her cup of tea, so she wanted to just go back and settle with her family.”

Twisha Sharma was from Noida and got married to a Bhopal-based advocate, Samarth Singh, in December 2025. She moved to Bhopal after marriage, and things took an ugly turn within five months. Recently, her WhatsApp texts to her mother five days before her death have been making the rounds on the internet. They further added to the allegations made by her family, who have been accusing her husband, Samarth and her mother-in-law, who is a retired judge, of mental harassment, domestic violence and physical abuse.
Twisha was found hanging at her residence in Bhopal’s Katara Hills area. But her family denies the suicide theory and claims that she was murdered. They even raised questions on the police probe in Bhopal and wanted a fresh post-mortem examination. The WhatsApp texts, which are now surfacing, are dated from May 7, 2026, five days before Twisha’s death.
Twisha further wrote in another WhatsApp text that her in-laws think that she takes drugs, and this is why her mood changes. She added that they do not know that their son has left her, which upsets her mood. She further wrote in the text that she should take her home as her husband doesn’t want her. Twisha also stated that her husband asked her whose child it was. She said:
“Mujhe puch raha hai vo kiska bacha tha, aur mai ignore karu? Kaisi aurat ho ap. Ye apne ghatiya pane ki her limit cross karke baitha hai. Kaise reh lun iske sath.”
