CNG prices have increased by Rs 1 in Delhi-NCR from today i.e. 17th May. Now CNG will be available in Delhi for Rs 80.09 per kg. Whereas in Noida-Ghaziabad its price has become Rs 88.70. This is the second increase in prices in 2 days. Earlier on May 15, the price of CNG was increased by Rs 2 per kg. Petrol-diesel became costlier by ₹ 3-3. On May 15, the prices of petrol and diesel had increased by ₹ 3-3 per liter. Due to this, petrol in Delhi reached Rs 97.77 per liter and diesel reached Rs 90.67 per liter. At the same time, companies also made CNG costlier by ₹ 2 per kg in major cities. Now one has to spend ₹ 79.09 for one kg CNG in Delhi. Prices of other things may also increase… The increase in diesel prices has a direct impact on the common man’s pocket and kitchen. Understand it this way: Why did the prices of petrol, diesel and CNG increase? The main reason for this increase is the fluctuations in crude oil prices in the international market. Before the start of the war between Iran and America, the price of crude oil was $ 70, which has now increased to beyond $ 100 per barrel. Oil companies were under pressure due to rising crude oil prices. Therefore, companies have taken this step to compensate for the losses. If the prices of crude oil continue to rise for a long time, then the prices of petrol, diesel and CNG can be increased further. Will prices increase further? Experts believe that this increase of ₹3 is not enough. To completely eliminate their losses and reach the ‘break-even’ situation, these companies need to increase the price of petrol by ₹ 28 per liter and the price of diesel by ₹ 32 per liter. At present there is a shortage of 29.5% on petrol and 36.5% on diesel. If the supply in the global energy market remains affected in this manner due to the Iran war, then further increase may be seen in the coming days. ——————————————————
